Mixed Greensome Open 2026 Rules
1) The Tournament will be open to all amateur golfers with current handicaps who are members of recognised affiliated golf clubs. The maximum playing handicap allowed will be 31 for men and 41 for women.
2) The Tournament will be a greensome competition, played in accordance with the Rules of Golf, as approved by The Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews, and in accordance with Local Rules. 6 Drives each must be used. It is expected that all competitors will conform to all Rules and Regulations currently in force.
3) Online entry will open on Monday 1st December 2025 at 10am and payment will be required when making the booking The entry fee is £65 per couple which includes a £10 F&B credit for each player.
4) One round of the course will be played, with a handicap allowance of 60% of higher and 40% of lower handicaps . This will be a Stableford competition based on the Stoke indexes from the White tees.
5) Times will be available between 8am and 4pm.
6) There will be three Scratch prizes and five Handicap Prizes in each of two divisions (PH 14 and under and PH over 14). The overall winning Handicap Partnership will have their names inscribed on the Beddows Trophies And receive an additional prize of £50. All prizes paid as Scottish Golf vouchers.
7) In the event of a tie, positions will be decided on the best inward half; the best last 6; the best last 3 and thereafter by such method the Tournament Committee decide. Committee's decision shall be final.
8) Caddies are not permitted, buggies will be available with medial certificates
9) Refunds up to 72hrs before the event.
