US Kids European Championships

Longniddry is delighted to be one of the host clubs for this year's US Kids European Championships along with Craigielaw, Gullane and Luffness New.

We are hosting Boys aged 7 & under and 8 & under, and Girls aged 8 & under and 9 & under. More than 100 children from all over the world have already registered to play here and will be playing 9 holes on a shortened course, measuring from 1500 -1800 yards.

As can be seen from our unique fly-over webtour Longniddry doesn't lend itself to playing 9 holes as the 9th green is the
furthest away from the clubhouse and those not wishing to play a full round stop at the 13th which is opposite the clubhouse. In the competition, older boys & girls will be playing holes 1,2 and 12-18, while younger boys & girls will play holes 3-11 but as this is a very busy members' course, it will not possible to play those layouts before the official practice day on May 30th. We will however have forward tees from which the boys & girls can play at the weekend.

The competition runs from May 31st til June 3rd but practice rounds are being booked from May 27th onwards. The standard adult green fee on weekdays is £48 per person and while Juniors would normally pay £24, we will charge £12 for practice rounds regardless of how many holes are played. At weekends the standard green fee is £70 per person, with Juniors paying £35 but we will charge £18 for practice rounds at the weekend.
